KALAMAZOO -- Sure, the dizzying part of the holidays - the shopping, card-sending and family photographs - are here, but so are the parties.
A lot of work can go into planning the decor, cuisine and, of course, adult beverages for any holiday get-together.
What better way to impress your family, friends and neighbors than to join the "buy Michigan" movement and offer a variety of Michigan-made drinks, from a Kalamazoo craft beer to a hot-cider martini using vodka from Detroit?
If you're not hosting a party, but attending one, pack some of these flavorful options, or give them as gifts.

Crantini
Use: Cranberry Wine and DiVine Vodka from The Round Barn Winery, of Baroda (about 10 miles south of St. Joseph/Benton Harbor).
Recipe: Two ounces of Cranberry Wine, the biggest seller at Round Barn; 1.5 ounces of DiVine Vodka.
Serving: Shake contents, strain and pour into martini glass; garnish with a candy cane or a lime twist.
