We just got wind of two summer events filled with fine Michigan craft beer to add to an already full slate of activities.
Here goes:
1. "Reds, Whites and Brews"
What: The Round Barn Winery, Brewery & Distillery in Baroda - just south of St. Joseph/Benton Harbor - is hosting its open house July 3-4, with live music, case discounts and drink specials, including DiVine Vodka Slushies.
Music: Keith Scott, acoustic blues, 2-5 p.m. July 3; Pucker Up & Rock, classic rock covers, 2-5 p.m. July 4.
Hours: Noon-6 p.m. July 3-4
Admission: Free

2. Can Do Run
What: Celebrate International Canned Beer Month at Bilbo's Pizza & Brewing Co., 3307 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo. Join runners on a 4.8-mile jaunt from the Bilbo's parking lot "through the gently rolling hills of the Winchell neighborhood and through the beautiful Asylum Lake Preserve." A post-race party and awards ceremony will follow. There will also be drink specials and a special award for the best pair of knee-high socks.
