Croque Monsieur

INGREDIENTS *APPLE COMPOTE PREPARATION

Apple Compote: Melt butter in a pot. Add apples and Onion spread; top with wine. Simmer until reduced and apples are softened.

Croque Monsieur: Spread 2 thin slices of white bread with whole grain mustard. Top with shaved ham and Jarlsberg cheese slice. Put Apple Compote* on top of cheese. Press remaining bread slice on top to make a sandwich. Trim crusts and cut into 3 fingers.

Melt 1/2 TBSP butter and 1 TBSP olive oil in nonstick pan. When butter begins to foam, add fingers and cook till crisp and golden on both sides. Serve warm.
