Gewürztraminer Sauce
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Gewürztraminer wine
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- Shellfish of choice (lobster, crab legs, etc.)
- 2 tbsp chives
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
PREPARATION
In a saucepan, boil 1 cup
Round Barn Gewürztraminer over moderately high heat until reduced by half, about 10 minutes. Whisk in 4 tbsp unsalted butter and remove from the heat.
Prepare selected shellfish (lobster, crab legs, etc.)
Gently rewarm the sauce over low heat and stir in 2 tbsp chives and 1 tbsp lemon zest.
Pour the sauce into warmed dipping bowls and serve at once with the shellfish.
