Grilled Lamb Kebabs
Lamb is easy to grill and a nice change of pace from burgers and steaks.
Serve with rice pilaf and a big green salad. Pair with
Round Barn Pinot Noir.

ESTIMATED COOKING TIME: 8 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 lbs lamb, top round or boneless leg of lamb
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup red wine, such as Pinot Noir
- 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- Salt & pepper
PREPARATION
Soak bamboo skewers in water for 1 hour to prevent burning or use metal skewers.
Trim lamb of any fat and cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks. Mix all the marinade ingredients
together in a ziplock bag and marinate the meat for 2 - 24 hours. Grill over medium hot
coals until cooked to desired level of doneness (about 6 - 8 minutes). Kebabs can also
be broiled in oven.
