Sherrie's Spring Favorite


1/2 to 1# ham sliced in thin strips
3/4# asparagus sliced into 2" pieces and blanched
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 C Round Barn Winery Pinot Gris
1/2 C Butter
1/2 C Sour cream (light is fine)
1/2 to 1# mushrooms (optional)
Fresh grated parmesan cheese to taste
1# spaghetti or fettucini

Cook pasta according to package and drain. Saute garlic and mushrooms in butter until tender and brown. Add wine and sour cream, warm through until slightly thickened. Add ham and asparagus and heat through. Add pasta to sauce - add desired amount of parmesan. Serve with remainder of Round Barn Winery Pinot Gris.
